Amy is the main host of Democracy Now!, the progressive global news program broadcast daily. To learn more about the award winning, pioneering journalist, visit her IMDB page or better still, read her book, DEMOCRACY NOW! Twenty Years Covering the Movements Changing America - Kirkus describes it as "an impassioned book aiming to fuel informed participation, outrage, and dissent" (pretty much what this event aims to do).

NOAM CHOMSKY

As a public intellectual Noam has been outspoken on matters of human freedom and existential threats to humanity . He is a long time antiwar activist. Although best known for his contributions to linguistics, Noam is also a theorest of democracy, student of the media and propaganda as well as of U.S. foreign policy.
